What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the services you're interested in and your description of the job. You can also choose to share your email address, your contact preferences, your approximate budget and photos of your garden. If you tick the marketing box, we record that choice and the time you made it.
Why we collect it
We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, discuss your garden and prepare a quote. Photos help us understand the job before we speak. We don't use your details for anything else, and we never sell them.
Marketing messages
We only send occasional news or garden-care updates if you tick the marketing box. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we'll stop.
Who sees your details
Only The Green Standard. Your enquiry and photos are stored securely by our website hosting provider and are not shared with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep them
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months so we can manage ongoing work, then delete them. Photos are deleted with the enquiry. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. You can also withdraw marketing consent. Contact us using the details on this page and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
